Virgoans are known for their Mercurial wit. From the American Heritage Dictionary this means:

  1. Having the characteristics of eloquence, shrewdness, swiftness, and thievishness attributed to the god Mercury.

Sounds pretty much like the qualities shared by a good comedian!
