Lovely Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and money, turns retrograde today, July 23 and remain there until September 4th. Retrograde periods are often viewed with angst, but, truly, there is no need to worry. That said, there are considerations to keep in mind. Focus on the “RE”—retrogrades are great for reflection, revisiting, and revising.

You may find yourself reflecting on your relationships or your money habits. This could be a good time to restructure how you handle your finances, for example. A Venus retrograde is not an ideal time to make major purchases or make a major change in your appearance. It’s also not the ideal time to begin a new relationship or to make major shifts in a current relationship, if possible.
