You find yourself craving Chick-fil-a on Sunday, and you can’t have it, you want to shop at Hobby Lobby but your only day off is Sunday. You crossed paths with someone and they said ice cream, later that day you saw a billboard picturing 2 scoops in a cone. Your cravings don’t go away until they’re fed.
Now, let’s take it a step further. You’re a happy person, following the routine of your daily life. You get a glimpse of the news while you’re putting your makeup on, and your mood changes. You hear a close friend struggling in their marriage, you start to question your own. You drop your kids off at daycare, all new faces. Questions start racing, do I need to be a stay-at-home mom?
Negativity and division have been the narrative for 3 years. Of course, we are going to start adopting that mindset. This is the burn everyone is feeling.
Now take a large inhale, hold it, release!
