Are you exhausted from the whirlwind we have recently been through? It was a wild eclipse season combined with the always interesting Mercury Retrograde. It seems that it is time for some soothing. You can breathe for a bit now. It feels we have been pushing and pulling and struggling lately and for what? It is time to let go, and put your trust into the Universe. Relax your body, relax your mind, and embrace whatever changes have arisen during the eclipse season. It is time to let all of that heaviness go.

Today at 11:54 a.m. EST, we have a New Moon in Taurus. But this new moon is special and rare. It is what is known as a seasonal Black Moon! This means that this is one of four full moons happening during the spring season. Usually there are only 3 per season. Having a black moon is rare as it only happens once every 33 months.

Taurus is all about safety and dependability, which is the opposite of what eclipses bring. The normally slow and steady Taurus bull has been bucking around lately. So now that the eclipses have passed we have a nice moment at the tail end of Taurus season to slow down, let go of that scatterbrained feeling, and stabilize.

Use this New Moon to find some clarity. How can you lean into comfort and stability now? What will give you pleasure? How can you get back into your body? Well, one way is to slow down and savor everything around you. Really be present. Enjoy the taste of your food instead of rushing through your meal to get to the next thing. Literally take a moment to stop and smell the roses. Get out and enjoy the fresh air. Make an effort to move your body and exercise. Take a few moments every day to be still and think. Constant stimulation is not necessary and actually is bad for you. Clear your mind and make space for newness. New Moons are about setting intentions, starting new routines, and beginning again. Try to see your life with fresh eyes and spoil yourself a bit right now! You deserve it!
