For Self-Care Sunday today, Kirem Marnett shares an exercise taught to her by fellow empath, intuitive and Almanac contributor, Michael Lott. It provides another way to gauge the power of flow and can be used to understand the give-and-take of energy in your surrounding relationships.
Sensitive people can tell when a lot of energy and attention has been given over after a particular or intense conversation, by simply being around a large group, or when interacting with certain individuals. A lot of the time, however, the awareness of energy loss sets in after an exchange has taken place, leaving many sensitives feeling drained and tired.
What if we could have a tool to use during conversations and interactions that could be implemented undetected, and could be used any time to help preserve our energy? It sounded like a miracle to me, too! But when my friend Michael Lott shared this easy visualization practice with me several years ago, I tried it immediately and have used it ever since.
The pratice is simple and just involves just a few steps of visualization:
