Did you know that today is National Find a Rainbow Day? According to National Day Calendar, National Find a Rainbow Day takes place every April 3rd and "challenges us to look to the sky and find a colorful ray of hope cast across it".

"There are people that see rainbows as an artistic masterpiece in the sky, to others it is a sign of hope and to many a sign of promise. It can be all three; beauty, hope and promise." - Jill Magnus

From Lori Bradford Miles' article, "All the Colors of the Rainbow" below, she explains a rainbow is:

"... one of the foremost beautiful, present phenomenons in nature. The colors you see when a rainbow appears are the results of light being split into its various individual wavelengths. Light is an electromagnetic wave, the fluctuation of electrical and magnetic fields in nature. Each color we see has its own wavelength, unique frequency and healing energy. Each unique frequency features a different effect. Rainbows are an emblem, holding deep meaning and significance to the individuals who are lucky enough to discover them."

Be on the lookout for rainbows in your day today, and find our selections on the topic below for inspiration and appreciation of the many ways rainbows appear in our lives!
