What can I do to change the world? Just me, one small fish in a very big sea. What can I do? How can I be better? How can I contribute to a greater society?
Many of us feel that this is a defining time in our journey. The stakes feel higher than ever. As a whole we suddenly have so much to gain and so much to lose.
The needed change starts with ourselves. It starts with a personal commitment to be better. A commitment to strive for our own excellence. One way to do this is to unplug from the system that wants us uninformed. The system that wants us to just be one of the masses. Take yourself out of that resonance. Tune into and embrace the energy that you want to not only attract, but to embody.
Some want us out of shape and sick; we need to be fit and healthy.
Some want us to hate each other, live in fear, and cancel each other; we need to love, live in peace, and build each other up.
Some want us unaware and gullible; we need to be aware and intelligent.
They want us all these things because then we are easier to control and manipulate. They don’t want us to ask questions, they want us to just blindly believe everything that is put on the news. We need to be smarter than that. We need to have no tolerance for nonsense. The time to be excellent is now. The time to live at a higher level is now. The time to learn and grow and evolve is now.
We cannot fail at this. It is too important. We are all on the same team. We really are. We cannot forget this. The team of humanity. This absolutely is not a time to throw in the towel and say well we are too far gone. No, we are not. This is a time of pressure, but nearly everything great comes from pressure. Let’s look back at this time, not as the time that broke us, but as the time that made us exceptional.
So, what do we do? Become an example of what you want to see in the world. Smile at everyone, spread light, be loving. Teach your children to want to make the world a better place. Take steps to create a life you love and help others to do the same. Prioritize your health and wellness. Read inspirational articles to start your day. Become involved in feel good activities. Become dedicated to truth and excellence. Start small, make yourself better. Then make your family better, then make your neighborhood better, then make your community better. You will inspire others to do the same. Be honorable, kind, and be reasonable. Like a ripple from one rock thrown into the water, this is how we start to change the world.
