"Dream A Little Dream of Me" (click the video above to listen to Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong sing!)

You’re here to dream—not only when you sleep, but also when you’re awake. The world is a dream. The whole universe of things and beings is a long dream. Since antiquity, dreams prophecies have been viewed as a source of divination, as a form of reality, as a curative force, and as an extension or adjunct of the waking state. Dreams are a succession of images, thoughts, feelings or sensations that occur during sleep. Dreaming often mixes mundane aspects of waking life with strange and symbolic, supernatural reflections of reality.

Dreams were always held to be extremely important for divination (“to foresee, to foretell, to predict, to prophesy”). An oracle or medium provides wise and insightful counsel through dream portals for interpretations of creations from consciousness. It is only after waking that we realize the potential for our dreams to materialize.
