“Fairy tales from long ago to modern day, with all the magic in the world sent your way…”
I just cast a spell on you! All spells of enchantment are magical formulations of words with the intent to bewitch or entrance. An incantation, a spell, a charm, an enchantment or a bewitchery is a magical formula. Even innocent sounding phrases we grew up with such as “once upon a time….” are words of incantation, signaling the beginning of a spell of enchantment. Once the spell has been cast, the subject becomes spellbound. An incantation can be a spoken recitation in the form of words, sung or chanted, played by a musical instrument, danced or even drawn in the form of sacred geometries. “Abracadabra” is an ancient Hebrew magical word meaning, “I will create as I speak,” used while waving a magic wand with the intention to make one’s dreams and desires come true. But remember, magic is magic and it can be used to help or hinder.
