In our Fall Spiritual Journal, we explore Lessons in Letting Go. Among them is honoring death, dying and what endings are naturally showing up this time of year. The following excerpt is from one of the pieces featured this issue, "The Blue Ethers & the Cold Path of Death" by Lori Bradford Miles.
The soul is timeless; translations of the word Akaal in Gurmukhi are “undying” or “without time.” “Undying” refers to the soul that is being released. By adding the sound current to the meaning of the word, it helps guide departing souls to pass out of this earthly realm and into the realms beyond.
